Laurine comes from Haute-Savoie (France) and completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s studies at EPFL, including an exchange year at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. During her Master’s, she gained industry experience through an internship at dsm-firmenich, under the supervision of Julien Coulomb, where she worked on method development and fragrance chemistry. She later completed her Master’s thesis in the group of Prof.Jieping Zhu.
Her academic research experience includes Lewis acid catalysis, ynimine chemistry, and chemoselective oxidation, complementing her experience in industrial research and development.
Laurine joined the Katayev Group to pursue her PhD.
